Noticing Nature (travel edition) 13/100 – Let it rain!
Working toward 100 posts of 100 words each about nature in our own backyards
The first days of our trip to Costa Rica, we were in the rainforest. It was also the beginning of the rainy season. It rained every day, but never a complete washout. We dressed for it. And every place we visited was built for it: covered walkways through gardens, covered decks and patios with scenic views and busy birdfeeders.
As our new artist friend, Cope, told us, the rain brings out the best critters. He was right. Here’s what I found among the lush leaves of Cope’s garden. A blue jeans dart frog. A frog with my sense of style!
lol—love the blue jeans!
To be dressed like this, knowing how stylish you are … it makes me smile. Thank you.
